Trot singer Kim Ho-jung has appealed to the Supreme Court after being sentenced to actual imprisonment for drunk driving and hit-and-run. Kim Ho-jung was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison for charges including dangerous driving causing injury and fleeing the scene under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes, as well as failure to take action after an accident under the Road Traffic Act. The appellate court upheld the initial ruling of 2 years and 6 months in prison.
