JTBC's new documentary program 'Deep Dive Korea: Song Ji Hyo's Haenyeo Adventure' will premiere at midnight on the 15th. This program follows actress Song Ji Hyo as she challenges herself with the life of haenyeo in Jeju and forms a bond with them. Co-produced by JTBC and BBC Studios, it is the first collaboration with BBC Studios among domestic broadcasters. In the first episode, Song Ji Hyo arrives in Jeju to take the first steps to become a haenyeo, going through haenyeo interviews, fitting into rubber suits, and making her own diving gear. She also takes classes to learn the diving techniques from the haenyeo. After experiencing the lives and bond of the haenyeo, Song Ji Hyo jumps into the sea.
