The trusted actor Namgoong Min is expanding his territory into the melodrama genre. In the upcoming SBS new Friday-Saturday drama “Our Movie,” premiering on the 13th, he takes on the role of the film director Lee Jeha, portraying a struggling aspiring actor living a deadline-oriented life, along with Jeon Yeobin as Daum, depicting a realistic and delicate emotional line. At the production presentation on the 10th, Namgoong Min sincerely shared his determination and acting approach for this project. “Our Movie” tells the story of Lee Jeha, a film director facing a midlife crisis, and Daum, who stands at the end of life, meeting by chance and unfolding a narratIVE. Beyond a simple melodrama, this work is anticipated as an emotion-centered drama depicting the inner changes and healing of the two characters. Director Lee Jungheum, who is in charge of directing the drama, expressed, “I first worked with Namgoong Min 8 years ago in ‘Manipulation,’ and it feels fresh to meet again after a long time,” adding, “Memories of the time we grew together remain strong.
