ITZY is back with ‘Girls Will Be Girls’, unveiling mysterious and powerful teasers.

The girl group ITZY is gearing up for their comeback with the first mini album ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ in 2025, raising fans’ expectations by releasing music video teasers and photos. This comeback focuses on strong concepts that showcase each of the fIVE members’ individual personalities and narratIVE visual aesthetics. JYP Entertainment unveiled the music video teaser and member photos of ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ through their official SNS channel at midnight on June 4th. Leading up to the album release, teaser videos, promotion schedules, tracklists, and more have been sequentially revealed, heightening the anticipation for the comeback. The teaser release is highlighted as the most crucial turning point before the album release. In the teaser video, narration by Lia saying, “Someone once told us to lIVE as ourselves. So we did,” accompanies individual narratIVEs of the members. From Lia running to an unknown place, Yuna with scars, Ryujin with a tense expression, Yeji showcasing action scenes, to Chaeryeong pulling a bowstring, each sequence is organically connected to form a narratIVE tension. The photos released, designed like characters from a movie, emphasize the different charms of the fIVE members. The unique charisma and mystery of ITZY coexist in the visuals, further amplifying the anticipation for the music video. The title track ‘Girls Will Be Girls’ is an impressIVE dance track with energetic beats and rich vocal harmonies. Through this song, ITZY will positIVEly express women’s autonomy and individuality, aiming to delIVEr a message beyond just performance. This comeback, especially, is the first album to be released approximately six months after their activities in 2024, promising actIVE communication with fans. On the release day, June 9th, a countdown lIVE will be held at 5 p.m., where the members will share their thoughts on the comeback and behind-the-scenes of the album.
