2025 Weverse Con, the present and future of transcendent K-pop generations… Perfect harmony between BoA and Enhypen
The meeting place of the present and future of K-pop, the first day stage of ‘2025 Weverse Con Festival’ unfolded spectacularly on May 31 at Incheon Inspire Arena. Hosted by the global fandom platform Weverse, this concert, connecting fans and artists from around the world, captivated attention from the first day with overwhelming line-up and immersIVE stage production.
The performance kicked off with the dynamic performance of rookie group 82 Major. Emerging on lifts, they filled the stage with powerful songs like ‘What Are You Looking At’, ‘Tip of the Tongue’, and ‘Even the Thorny Path is Fine’, energizing the atmosphere. Fifty Fifty showcased their hit songs ‘Pooky’, ‘SOS’, and ‘Midnight Special’ with stylish stage production, demonstrating a more mature musicality.
Following them, Aileet presented lIVEly performances with songs like ‘IYKYK’, ‘Cherish’, and ‘Magnetic’. They led the enthusiastic response of global Gen Z fans with trendy choreography and visuals. Next, Treasure took the stage to explosIVE energy, receiving fervent cheers from fans from the start and coloring the stage with songs like ‘I Want Your Love’ and ‘Dara’.
At the heart of the performance was BoA. Celebrating her 25th debut annIVErsary this year, she started with cover stages by Fifty Fifty and Aileet, continuing with a ‘Tribute Stage’. BoA then took the stage with hits like ‘Hurricane Venus’, ‘My Name’, ‘Only One’, ‘Atlantis Princess’, and ‘No.1’, delIVEring deep resonance to the audience.
BoA’s heartfelt message, “I have been able to receIVE love for 25 years thanks to the fans who started just because I liked the stage,” added to the emotional impact of the event. Her stage, still boasting unique performances, was not just a mere retrospectIVE but a moment that added another line to K-pop history.
Following BoA, VIVIZ decorated the stage with performances of ‘Shhh!’, ‘PULL UP’, ‘MANIAC’, and Enhypen closed the event with a solid stage presence, overwhelming the audience with powerful performances of ‘Blockbuster’, ‘XO’, ‘Sweet Venom’, and their new song ‘Far Away’, which was revealed for the first time.
2025 Weverse Con goes beyond a simple concert to connect generations, documenting artists’ narratIVEs and fans’ passion on a global stage. On June 1, Lunight, P1 Harmony, U&U, Lysella Femme, and Tomorrow X Together will perform, continuing another music festival.
