Joo Hyun-young is set to undergo a radical transformation as she takes on the role of the horror YouTuber ‘Dakyung’ in the movie ‘Ghost Train’ (directed by Tak Se-woong). With the teaser poster released ahead of its July 2nd premiere, this film is expected to showcase a new horizon in Joo Hyun-young’s acting career. In the movie, Joo Hyun-young portrays Dakyung, a popular horror content creator who covers the ongoing disappearance cases at the subway station ‘Gwangrim Station.’ In an attempt to boost her content views, she delves into the ‘origin of ghost stories,’ only to encounter mysterious entities and eerie incidents. Alongside Joo Hyun-young, other actors with strong acting skills have joined the cast.
