Official Statement from YG Entertainment
Hello, this is YG Entertainment.
We regret to inform you that Baby Monsters member Lami will not be able to participate in the Asian tour scheduled from May 17th in Singapore until the end of June due to health reasons.
Lami has been undergoing steady treatment and management while wanting to repay the love of fans despite ongoing health issues since her debut. However, there has been no significant improvement in her condition, and recently, medical professionals recommended that she suspend all activities for the time being and prioritize absolute rest.
Regardless of the medical advice, prioritizing the artist’s health is a matter of course. We ask for your understanding regarding Lami’s absence from the remaining Asian tour schedule.
Baby Monsters is currently on their first world tour within a year of their debut. Despite unforeseen circumstances, the members, who wish to successfully conclude their meetings with Asian fans, are working harder than ever before with a determined mindset to enhance the completeness of the stages reorganized into a six-member version and newly added cover songs.
We kindly ask for your support for the six members who are doing their best to fill Lami’s absence. Furthermore, we would be grateful if you could also send warm encouragement to Lami for a speedy recovery.
