Influencer Seo Min-jae (31, changed name to Seo Eun-woo) who gained fame through ‘Heart Signal Season 3’ surprised everyone by announcing her pregnancy. However, controversy arose as she not only revealed her boyfriend’s personal information but also shared photos of them together.
On the 2nd, Seo Min-jae posted a sonogram photo that appears to be from the early stages of pregnancy with the caption “Congratulations on becoming a dad” on her social media, sparking discussions. She also uploaded several photos with a man presumed to be the father of the child, disclosing his name, age, and educational background.
The photos show Seo Min-jae and her boyfriend, Mr. A, affectionately leaning their heads against each other or lying on a bed embracing each other. A photo of Mr. A wearing university pajamas and hugging Seo Min-jae was also shared. The sonogram photo is estimated to have been taken on the 30th of last month.
What was initially thought to be a surprise pregnancy announcement post turned out to be a revelation about Mr. A.
Furthermore, on the 3rd, Seo Min-jae additionally shared screenshots of text messages exchanged with Mr. A on her social media.
According to the messages, Seo Min-jae sent messages to Mr. A saying, “Please contact me, ○○”, “What will happen if we keep avoiding this. How irresponsible of us to get pregnant like this, what will happen if we abandon it.” In response, Mr. A reportedly said, “Unnie, I couldn’t reply quickly due to the sudden situation. My head hurts too much, I will contact you tomorrow. Let’s talk together, you and me.”
About 12 hours after sending the messages, Seo Min-jae sent more messages like “Please contact me”, “How long will you keep avoiding me”, “Save me, please contact me”, and so on.
While sharing these messages, Seo Min-jae tagged the official social media accounts of the university and department where Mr. A is presumed to be currently studying.
Meanwhile, Seo Min-jae, who comes from an engineering background, became known for appearing on the Channel A show ‘Heart Signal 3’ in 2020.
In 2022, Seo Min-jae was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a 2-year probation for charges of using Philopon with her ex-boyfriend, former WINNER member Nam Tae-hyun.
Seo Min-jae has expressed her apologies, stating, “I will make sure not to cause such incidents again. I will strive to live as a proper and honest person from now on.” She has also undergone rehabilitation treatment and embarked on a process of drug recovery and positivity.
