The movie ‘Seungbu’ surpassed 2 million cumulative viewers on its 27th day of release.
According to the integrated cinema ticketing network, on April 21st, the 27th day of release, ‘Seungbu’ surpassed 2,000,933 cumulative viewers in the morning. Following the success of the 2025 Korean film ‘Hitman 2,’ ‘Seungbu’ became the second Korean film to attract 2 million viewers, securing its spot as the second highest-grossing Korean film of 2025.
Moreover, among all films released in 2025, ‘Seungbu’ ranked third in overall box office performance after ‘Mickey 17’ and ‘Hitman 2,’ demonstrating its strong appeal to audiences. Maintaining its position in the top ranks of the box office in its fourth week, ‘Seungbu’ not only surpassed the breakeven point of 1.8 million but also exceeded 2 million viewers, showcasing a solid success streak.
Along with the news of surpassing 2 million cumulative viewers, the ‘Seungbu’ team released a gratitude video and photos, featuring the main actors Lee Byung-hun, Go Chang-seok, Hyun Bong-sik, Moon Jung-hee, and director Kim Hyung-joo, holding celebratory number balloons and smiling brightly.
