Actor Cheon Woo-hee has joined the fandom communication platform ‘Hiand.’ ‘Hiand’ is a fan platform designed exclusively for actors to form deeper relationships with their fans. It was officially launched last November with actors Ji Chang-wook, Park Seo-joon, and Lee Jong-suk joining as initial members. Since then, many actors including Hwang In-yeop, Woo Do-hwan, Byun Yo-han, Park Hyung-sik, and Jin Young have participated, creating a lively fan communication space. Actor Lee Jun-hyuk also gained attention by communicating with fans through a character. Cheon Woo-hee’s joining as the second female actor after Han So-hee has attracted even more attention.
Cheon Woo-hee, who made a strong impression on the public with the 2011 film ‘Sunny,’ has built trust with both the public and critics through various works such as ‘Han Gong-ju,’ ‘The Wailing,’ ‘Anarchist from Colony,’ ‘Love Fiction,’ and ‘I Just Dropped My Smartphone.’ Last year, she topped the Netflix domestic Top 10 with JTBC’s ‘Not a Hero but’ and the Netflix series ‘The 8 Show,’ receiving hot attention from viewers both domestically and internationally. In the second half of this year, she is scheduled to portray a delicate emotional romance as Seong Je-yeon, a woman who has to disrupt the peace of her first love, opposite Song Joong-ki as Sun Woo-hae, a man starting a belated ordinary life in the drama ‘My Youth’ on JTBC.
Through her entry into Hiand, Cheon Woo-hee will continue to engage in more direct communication with fans by simultaneously opening the ‘Lounge’ and ‘DM (Direct Message)’ services. In the Lounge, fans can check out Cheon Woo-hee’s daily life, exclusive content, and news related to her works at a glance. The DM service allows real-time messaging with an automatic translation feature, enabling fans to receive not only text but also photos and voice messages.
To commemorate Cheon Woo-hee’s entry, Hiand will also introduce various contents and fan-participatory events. Fans can check out special entry commemorative content and events on the Hiand app. A Hiand official stated, “It is very meaningful to be with actor Cheon Woo-hee, who has gained deep trust through acting and sincerity,” and added, “We will continue to strive for various content and system enhancements to actively communicate with fans in the future.”
Established as a leading platform for global actor fandom since its launch, ‘Hiand’ can be downloaded for free via Google Play and the Apple App Store.
