The group FIESTAR is reuniting for the first time in 6 years.
According to FIESTAR’s agency on the 9th, the group has decided to reunite thanks to the continuous support of their fans. They have signed an exclusive contract with BOMNAY Entertainment and have officially started their activities.
FIESTAR, who debuted in 2012 and released various hit songs such as “Vista,” “You’re Pitiful,” and “Apple Pie,” went their separate ways after officially disbanding in 2018. In August last year, to commemorate their 12th debut anniversary, FIESTAR released a remake single “You’re Pitiful 2024 ver” and announced their return to music activities. Through this new contract, they plan to continue with more systematic and diverse activities.
In particular, member Cao Lu actively participated in the reunion by raising funds through live commerce in China to purchase the copyright of their representative song “You’re Pitiful,” receiving warm attention from fans. Additionally, Cao Lu made extraordinary efforts to protect FIESTAR. Despite receiving solo contract offers from several agencies, she personally searched for a company where FIESTAR could reunite as a whole group. Prioritizing the reunion of the group over individual activities, she chose the path for FIESTAR and signed a contract with BOMNAY Entertainment.
FIESTAR is preparing a remake album to share memories with fans. This album will reinterpret FIESTAR’s debut and signature song “Vista” with a modern sensibility, preserving the original emotions while adding more sophisticated sound and arrangements to enhance the completeness and deliver a moving experience.
Furthermore, before the release of the remake album, FIESTAR is scheduled to perform at the “K-Pop Super Concert in Macau” on the 27th.
