Shinsegae Group Chairman Jung Yoo Kyung’s daughter, known as the third generation in the business world, Moon Seo Yoon, has announced a new start as a K-pop idol. Under the stage name ‘Aeni,’ she will debut as a member of the rookie co-ed group ‘ALLDAY PROJECT’ presented by Double Black Label on June 23rd. On the 9th, Double Black Label revealed the team name, member lineup, and introduction video of ALLDAY PROJECT through their official channel, announcing the official launch. The group consists of fIVE members: Aeni (Moon Seo Yoon), Tarzan, Bailey, Woo Chan, and Yeongseo, each bringing different backgrounds and skills as promising artists. Moon Seo Yoon is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group’s founding chairman Jung Jae Eun and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Department Store’s President Jung Yoo Kyung. Educated in the United States since childhood, she graduated from Gyeonggi Elementary School and attended the prestigious Chapin School in New York before currently studying at Columbia UnIVErsity. Showing talent in both academia and the arts, she has embarked on a new career as a K-pop artist. During her trainee days, Moon Seo Yoon was often in the spotlight for her connections with artists under YG and Double Black Label, and she was even rumored to be a potential member of the girl group Miyao before its debut last year. However, she ultimately did not join Miyao and has now been confirmed as a new member of the co-ed group. ALLDAY PROJECT is drawing attention as an uncommon co-ed group in K-pop. Among the members, Tarzan is Lee Chae Won, who has been actIVE as a dancer and model, while Bailey is Seok Yoo Jin, a dancer and choreographer who has worked in the United States. Woo Chan is a former Big Hit trainee and a contestant from ‘Show Me The Money 6,’ and Yeongseo previously made it to the final debut lineup on a JTBC audition program but experienced elimination. The official introduction video includes narration saying, “The world may not know us yet, but we are ready,” along with profile videos of the members, creating anticipation among fans immediately after its release. Moon Seo Yoon’s younger brother, Moon Seo Jin, also showed support for her debut by sharing related posts on social media. Led by Teddy, Double Black Label, based on their successful artist launches such as BLACKPINK and Jeon Somi, plans to present a new K-pop trend through ALLDAY PROJECT. Differentiated strategies in music, performance, and content are expected, and the first official music and music video will be released on the 23rd, with the members planning to communicate with fans through music shows and SNS activities.
