Koo Hye Sun, achieved ‘Intellectual Challenge’ during her KAIST master’s program, even patenting ‘unfolding hair roll’.

Koo Hye Sun posted on her SNS today (19th), “Today is the day of invention. I visited the Korea Invention Promotion Association for an interview about the invention of hair rollers,” along with a photo.

In the photo, Koo Hye Sun is smiling in front of the Korea Invention Promotion Association. The video of the ‘Expandable Hair Roller,’ which she personally developed, and a photo of the related patent certificate are also included.

Currently pursuing a master’s degree in engineering at the KAIST Graduate School of Science Journalism, Koo Hye Sun is known to have developed the hair roller with a professor of chemistry at KAIST.

During a recent appearance on MBC’s ‘Radio Star,’ Koo Hye Sun mentioned that she invented the hair roller to meet the graduation requirements of unIVErsity, saying, “Unlike conventional cylindrical rollers, it can be flattened for easy portability and can be bent for use.”
