The group RISE is making a comeback today (19th) with their first full-length album ‘ODYSSEY.’ This album firmly defines RISE’s identity and consists of a total of 10 tracks that encompass RISE’s unique genre of ’emotional pop.’ The album is set to be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on May 19th. The track videos that garnered attention at the ‘ODYSSEY’ premiere have been released, and the music video for the title track ‘Fly Up,’ which showcases a well-made performance reminiscent of a youth musical, can be found on the SMTOWN YouTube channel, while videos for other tracks will be sequentially released on the RISE YouTube channel, capturing attention. The emotions felt by the members are fully reflected in the lyrics of this album, starting from the 1st track ‘Odyssey,’ which conveys the mindset of facing the beginning of a new chapter as a team, to the hip-hop track ‘Bag Bad Back,’ which conveys RISE’s vision as a team, the powerful dance track ‘잉걸 (Ember to Solar)’ embodying the team’s colors as they overcome adversity and strIVE towards their goals, and the charming sing-along section of RISE’s youthful cheer song ‘Show Me Love.’ Additionally, the instrumental track ‘Passage,’ produced by music producer Yoon Sang, serves as an emotional turning point in the album. The album also includes the fairytale-like atmosphere of ‘Midnight Mirage,’ two fan songs – the sentimental ballad ‘모든 하루의 끝 (The End of the Day)’ and the retro sentimental pop ballad ‘Inside My Love,’ and the 10th track ‘Another Life,’ which encapsulates RISE’s aspirations and determination. RISE will hold a showcase to commemorate the album release at 5 p.m. today at the Seoul Bluesquare SOL Trafalgar Hall, where the title track ‘Fly Up’ and the track ‘Bag Bad Back’ will be performed for the first time and lIVE-streamed through RISE’s YouTube and TikTok channels.
