2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival announces second lineup… From Little Simz to Jaurim and Crying Nut, an overwhelming lineup.

The ‘2025 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival’ (hereinafter referred to as Pentaport) has announced its second lineup. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Pentaport is preparing a more diverse and high-quality lineup, with a total of 10 new teams, including 7 domestic and 3 international teams, joining in this second announcement.

The artist to pay attention to first is the British hip-hop musician Little Simz. Having her first performance in Korea through Pentaport, she received praise from fans and critics worldwide by winning the Brit Award for Best New Artist and the Mercury Prize in 2022. Her album “Sometimes I Might be Introvert,” released in 2021, received high praise for its dramatic orchestration and deep autobiographical narrative. Expectations are high for her intense stage presence with her restrained flow and emotional performance.

The domestic lineup is also overwhelming. Jaurim is an icon of Korean rock, loved by generations for hits like “Magic Carpet Ride,” “25, 21,” and “Fan.” Their poetic lyrics, solid band sound, and Kim Yoon-ah’s emotional vocals still resonate as the language of youth, and they are expected to showcase their deepened musicality and explosive energy on stage at Pentaport.

Crying Nut is a living legend of Korean punk rock celebrating its 30th debut anniversary this year. Leading the late 1990s Hongdae club culture with genre-defining hits like “Let’s Ride a Horse,” “Luxembourg,” and “It Was a Late Night,” they will leave a strong impression on the Pentaport stage with their vivid energy and raw live performance.

Kim Min-kyu, as the frontman of Delispice, produced iconic songs representing Korean modern rock in the 2000s such as “Cha-cha-cha” and “Confession.” His sharp lyrics and sentimental melodies have touched fans’ emotions for a long time. He will fill the stage with his sweet and dense sound at this performance.

As for international artists, the distinctive singer-songwriter of Japan’s indie scene, Kaneko Ayano, has joined. With her pure vocals, delicate sensibility, and solid band sound, she has secured a steady fan base in Japan with her subtle yet sharp emotions. Familiar to indie music fans in Korea as well, she is expected to deliver a performance filled with her unique lyricism and energy on the Pentaport stage.

Additionally, the Japanese three-member rock band Brandy Senki has been added to the second lineup. They are gaining attention with their sharp guitar sound and energetic composition, quickly establishing themselves in the Japanese rock scene. Fans are eager to see what style of live performance they will showcase on this stage.

Furthermore, the psychedelic rock band Omar and the Eastern Power, the global band Kardi transcending tradition and modernity, and the post-punk rock band Far East Asia Tigers, who gained attention as ‘Penta Super Rookies’ last year, are included in the second lineup.

In the previously announced first lineup, 32 teams such as Pulp, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Beabadoobee, Hyukoh X Sunset Rollercoaster, Jang Kiha, and 3rd Line Butterfly received explosive reactions from fans.

This year, Pentaport plans to welcome audiences with an expanded scale and high-quality operation to celebrate the festival’s 20th anniversary alongside the strongest lineup ever.
