According to their agency Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN will hold a large-scale offline event ‘B-DAY PARTY’ from the 23rd to the 25th at Banpo Hangang Park in Seoul, including Sebit Island and Jamsu Bridge. With the release of their 5th full album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ and their upcoming 10th debut anniversary, the event is expected to receive a hot response from CARATs (fan club name) worldwide.
Sebit Island will be filled with a large pop-up. Various exhibitions and experiences await fans at Chebit. There will be the ‘SEVENTEEN History Zone’ which compresses SEVENTEEN’s journey full of challenges, ‘Puzzle SEVENTEEN’ where fans can experience a mobile game created by the members, an ‘Interactive Art Zone’ where fans can leave 10th anniversary congratulatory letters, and a ‘Photoism’ booth where fans can take photos framed with SEVENTEEN’s past album portraits.
Gabit will feature a ‘5th Full Album Merch Zone’ where fans can purchase new merch and the exhibition space decorated with concept photos from the new album. Yebit will host a video screening event on a large LED screen showcasing SEVENTEEN’s past hit music videos and 10th-anniversary thank-you messages. The event is not only for fans who visit the site but also for ordinary citizens looking to enjoy. There will also be a photo card exchange booth for stamp tour completers and event booths operated by partner companies.
The most anticipated program is undoubtedly the ‘BURST Stage’ that will take place on the Jamsu Bridge from 7:30 PM on the 25th for an hour. SEVENTEEN will be the first K-pop artist to perform on this stage, raising the comeback atmosphere to its peak. The performance will be streamed live online worldwide, and will also be broadcasted on a special LED screen installed at Banpo Hangang Park, allowing not only CARATs at the site but also ordinary citizens to watch.
‘B-DAY PARTY’ will provide even more entertainment in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The ‘Car-Free Jamsu Bridge Stroll Festival’ held every Sunday since the 4th will join the SEVENTEEN 10th anniversary party. Seocho-gu also contributed to the event to commemorate the first year of being designated as a ‘Goter-Sebit Tourism Special Zone.’
Collaborations with major hotels will also take place. Seoul Dragon City and L7 Cheongnyangni by Lotte will operate SEVENTEEN-themed rooms and decorate key areas inside and outside the hotels to commemorate the team’s 10th anniversary. Special menus will be released by F&B brands. Andaz Seoul Gangnam will introduce F&B menus inspired by SEVENTEEN.
In addition, the Hive headquarters will be wrapped with a 10th-anniversary message, and a photo spot will be installed at a nearby small park, with prospects of becoming a ‘pilgrimage site’ for global fans. Furthermore, large outdoor advertisements celebrating ‘B-DAY PARTY’ will be published in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, Beijing in China, and New York in the United States.
SEVENTEEN’s new possibilities will be showcased in their 5th full album ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY,’ which will be released on the 26th.
