Former mixed martial arts fighter Choo Sung-hoon, known for his skills in the ring, has embarked on a new challenge as a trot singer. Big Ocean EM will release Choo Sung-hoon’s T4 special song “Men To Man” through various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 11th. “Men To Man” is a song that reflects on the realization that as one grows older, only true friends and lifelong companions remain by one’s side, moving past the pride of having many friends in one’s youth. With Choo Sung-hoon’s deep emotions and vocals, the song is expected to leave a lasting impression on listeners. Choo Sung-hoon, who has gained attention as a mixed martial artist and YouTuber, showcased his exceptional trot skills on tvN STORY’s ‘Handsome Trot,’ bringing a fresh appeal to the show. ‘Handsome Trot’ is a survival music program where 12 celebrities from the entertainment industry challenged themselves with sincerity in trot for the opportunity to release music, ultimately concluding with the birth of T4 last month. The song “Men To Man” was completed on the spot by composer Yoon Il-sang after hearing about Choo Sung-hoon’s life and music, creating the title, lyrics, and melody. Classical guitarist Ddungchittangchittang also enriched the song’s sound with a brilliant and delicate guitar performance. Yoon Il-sang, known as the hit song maker, has proven his wide musical spectrum by working in various fields, from ballads and dance songs like Lee Eun-mi’s “I Have a Lover,” Cool’s “Woman on the Beach,” Turbo’s “Love Is… (3+3=0)” to even serving as the music director for the movie “The Outlaws 4.” Anticipation is rising for the synergy between Choo Sung-hoon and Yoon Il-sang.
