935 Entertainment officially stated on the 9th, “Recently, there have been fraudulent acts attempting to impersonate our employees for financial gain. We ask for special attention to be paid to this matter.” The agency revealed that cases have been confirmed where individuals impersonating managers of their artists approached small businesses, placed large orders at various restaurants and wine companies under the pretext of a gathering, and then caused damages by not showing up. The agency emphasized, “Our employees and staff will never request money transfers or purchases of goods from external parties under any circumstances. If you receive similar requests, do not send money or respond, and report to the police immediately if any damage occurs.”

Furthermore, they added, “We are aware of the seriousness of this incident and will do our best to prevent similar damages from occurring.”

Recently, there has been a rise in cases of individuals impersonating employees and managers of entertainment agencies to commit fraud. Previously, Baro Entertainment, the agency of B1A4’s Baro, and JG Star, the agency of Jisook, have also issued warnings regarding similar fraudulent activities.
