‘The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun’ marks Jang Shin-young’s return to television after three years since her last drama ‘Cleaning Up’ in 2022. Alongside Jang Shin-young, actors Seo Ha-joon, Yoon Ah-jung, Oh Chang-seok, and Lee Ru-da are also starring in the drama.
Previously, Jang Shin-young’s husband and actor Kang Kyung-joon was embroiled in an extramarital affair scandal in December 2023, facing a lawsuit for alimony from A. In July last year, the Seoul Family Court held the first trial of the alimony lawsuit filed by A against Kang Kyung-joon, and the court made an interim decision.
Jang Shin-young is maintaining her marriage with Kang Kyung-joon without divorce. In August last year, she expressed, “I had many conversations with my husband.
