CJ ENM’s global studio FIFTH SEASON is accelerating its expansion of premium content lineup by attracting Hollywood’s top creators to participate in content production. The studio plans to sequentially unveil content that will captivate viewers worldwide within this year. They are currently planning and developing a Netflix series titled “Carrie Soto Is Back,” with global tennis star Serena Williams serving as the executive producer. Additionally, they have confirmed a co-production of the MGM+ original comedy series “American Classic,” starring the award-winning actress Laura Linney, who has shone with two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. Furthermore, Dev Patel, known for his acclaimed performances in movies like “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir” and “Slumdog Millionaire,” will be involved in a thriller revenge drama titled “The Peasant” as an actor, screenwriter, and director, taking on co-production and investment responsibilities. FIFTH SEASON has also strengthened its production capabilities through talent acquisition and internal promotions.
