Netflix will release Yoo Ah-in’s comeback film ‘Seungbu’ starting from May 8th. The movie tells the story of Korea’s top baduk legend Cho Hun-hyun (played by Lee Byung-hun) who, after losing to his disciple in a match, challenges the top once again with his innate talent for winning. On May 1st, the film recorded a cumulative audience of 2,124,585 according to the Integrated Computer Network of the Korean Film Council, becoming a box office hit. In particular, ‘Seungbu’ garnered attention as Yoo Ah-in’s comeback film after being embroiled in controversy over drug allegations. Lead actors Lee Byung-hun and Yoo Ah-in have been nominated for the Best Actor award at the 23rd Directors Guild of Korea Awards.
