The drama “S-Line” won the ‘Best Music’ award at the closing ceremony of the 8th Cannes International Series Festival held at the Grand Théâtre Lumière in Cannes, France on the evening of the 29th (local time). “S-Line,” which was the only Korean content invited to compete at this year’s Cannes Series, achieved the remarkable feat of winning the main award for the second time in history after winning the screenplay award for “The Price of the Body” in 2023. It is especially meaningful as the first Korean drama to win the ‘Best Music’ award at the Cannes Series. The Cannes Series stated, “The music of ‘S-Line,’ which expressed emotional connections to the story in a new and fresh way, was very intriguing.” Director Ahn Joo-young, who took the stage to receive the music award, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am grateful for being invited to the prestigious Cannes International Series Festival and for receiving this award.
