Lee Jae In, who has been building his acting career steadily since his child actor days, rose to fame as a promising newcomer in the film industry with his dual role performance in the movie ‘Saba Ha,’ where he shaved his head, at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards. He has since showcased various acting transformations regardless of genre or character in works like ‘Racket Boys,’ ‘Call,’ and ‘Night in Paradise.’ In ‘High Five,’ Lee Jae In takes on the role of ‘Wanseo’ and challenges himself in action acting, drawing attention to his performance. ‘Wanseo,’ a pure and brave girl who loves taekwondo, undergoes a miraculous heart transplant after a long wait and gains superpowers of explosive strength and lightning-fast speed. Having spent lonely school days without friends, she meets ‘Jisung,’ ‘Sunyeo,’ ‘Yakseon,’ and ‘Gidong,’ who also received organs from the same donor and acquired superpowers, forming the team ‘High Five’ and engaging in delightful teamwork. Lee Jae In, who mentioned that the synchronization with ‘Wanseo’ is the highest among the characters she has portrayed so far, underwent 10 months of action training from pre-production to filming for the central action role of ‘Wanseo’ among the ‘High Five’ members. She flawlessly mastered high-difficulty wire actions and taekwondo movements, showcasing powerful action scenes. Director Kang Hyeong Cheol praised her, saying, “She was not just an acting genius. She received a lot of applause on set for digesting action scenes so well.
