In this season, global entertainer soldier Jeon Se-gye (played by Kim Dong-jun) joins as a new recruit, and Wonder Girls’ former member Yubin made a surprise appearance as his visitor, attracting attention. Director Min Jin-ki said, “I had a connection with Yubin as I directed the ‘SNL Korea’ Wonder Girls episode. The drama is set in 2011-2012 when Wonder Girls frequently performed in the military. The historical accuracy matches, and Yubin fit the role perfectly when she went to the military, so I asked her to do it, and I’m thankful that she readily agreed.” Particularly, the photo of actress Han Ga-in, well-known as the ‘world’s older sister’ and resembling Kim Dong-jun at the ‘doppelganger level,’ also sparked interest.
