On the 30th, Cats Eye released a new single ‘Gnarly’ on a global music streaming site at 1 p.m., marking the beginning of a new chapter. The new release is a song based on the hyperpop genre, incorporating elements of dance and punk. It is characterized by bold and original sounds, harmonizing the members’ unrestrained vocals with straightforward lyrics.

Many global hitmakers participated in the production, with producer Pink Slip credited. He has collaborated with artists such as Marshmello, The Chainsmokers, Jason Derulo, and Lauv. Additionally, Team Randolf, Bang Si-hyuk, and Slow Rabbit joined forces to showcase the team’s unique color and heightened presence as artists through this song.

The music video features a radical transformation, departing from the lovely image shown in the previous work. It creates a surreal atmosphere with psychedelic direction, blending reality and fantasy in its composition. Dreamy images contrast with rough scenes, enhancing Cats Eye’s uncompromising attitude and adding depth to their appeal. The energetic performance maximizes the song’s energy.

Cats Eye will make appearances on major music shows in South Korea, starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 1st of next month, followed by KBS-2TV’s ‘Music Bank,’ MBC-TV’s ‘Show! Music Core,’ and SBS-TV’s ‘Inkigayo.’
