The movie “SALMOKJI” (working title) has confirmed the casting of Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Jong Won, kicking off full-scale production. This movie is a horror film that depicts the events that unfold when a filming team, headed to a reservoir for an update on a mysterious figure captured on a road view, encounters something dark and deep in the water. Kim Hye Yoon, who rose to fame captivating viewers in the explosive hit drama “Extraordinary You” not only domestically but also internationally, aims for the title of ‘Horror Queen’ that only actors with both acting skills and popularity can achieve through her role in “SALMOKJI” (working title). Kim Hye Yoon will play ‘Soo In,’ a character who experiences a series of unknown events while on a business trip to the reservoir. Lee Jong Won, who has impressed viewers with various characters, joins Kim Hye Yoon in “SALMOKJI” (working title) as ‘Ki Tae,’ heading towards the mystery of the reservoir alongside ‘Soo In.’ The two actors, recognized for their stable acting skills, will challenge themselves in the horror genre, drawing attention to the chemistry they will showcase. “SALMOKJI” (working title) will be directed by Lee Sang Min, who has been noted as a promising director in Chungmuro for winning awards at multiple film festivals with short films such as “Spinning Gun” and “Hamjinabi.” The production will be handled by Han De Ramf, known for successful works like “A Taxi Driver” and “Extreme Job.” “SALMOKJI” (working title) with the casting confirmed is scheduled to start filming in May.
