Actor Kim Soo-hyun’s side has made a statement regarding a lawsuit seeking 3 billion won in damages. In response, his agency Gold Medalist stated that it has not yet been confirmed whether a lawsuit related to an advertising contract has been filed. It was reported that two companies that had advertising contracts with Kim Soo-hyun have filed lawsuits against him and his agency for the return of modeling fees and damages. Another company, Company A, also announced that they are considering filing a lawsuit demanding the return of modeling fees or penalty fees after terminating their advertising contract with Kim Soo-hyun. Entertainment lawyer Park Sung-woo revealed that Kim Soo-hyun had signed contracts with 15 brands as a model, with modeling fees ranging from 1 to 1.2 billion won per contract based on domestic standards. Furthermore, due to recent allegations of involvement with a minor, the release of the Disney+ drama ‘Nok-Off,’ in which Kim Soo-hyun was set to star, has been temporarily postponed. With the delay in the release of the major project in which Kim Soo-hyun plays the lead role, it is expected that more advertisers will join the lawsuits.
