Hive’s Mexican subsidiary, Hive Latin America, announced today (25th) that they will be holding a band selection audition starting in June in collaboration with the U.S. broadcaster Telemundo. Telemundo will air the survival music competition program “Pase a la Fama” on June 8th to discover Mexican bands. The broadcast will showcase 55 audition participants who have been selected to participate in the “Pase a la Fama” artist camp, where they will receive systematic training and engage in fierce competition. The winner or team selected as band members will receive a prize of $100,000, approximately 140 million won, and will be given the opportunity for a record deal with Hive Latin America. The program’s judges include singer and actress Ana Bárbara, Adriel Favela, renowned composer Horacio Palencia, and other prominent figures in the Mexican music industry. Isaac Lee, Chairman of Hive Latin America, stated, “We will show how talent and opportunity come together from the roots of an artist to reach Hive’s global vision and realize what possibilities unfold when they meet.”
