The highly anticipated film “Soju War,” which is expected to bring fresh joy to theaters this summer, has unveiled character posters of Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Je-hoon, Son Hyun-joo, and Choi Young-joon.
The movie “Soju War” depicts the story of the fate of the national soju of South Korea, as financial director Jong-rok of a soju company, whose life is all about money, confronts In-beom, a global investment company employee who only pursues success, during the 1997 IMF financial crisis.
The character posters of the four main characters in the movie “Soju War” have been revealed, intensifying the anticipation of prospective audiences. Each poster showcases the visuals of Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Je-hoon, Son Hyun-joo, and Choi Young-joon, along with taglines that reveal the goals of the characters surrounding the national soju.
The character poster of Jong-rok, played by Yoo Hae-jin, features a strong gaze and the tagline “Protect.” Jong-rok, the financial director of the national soju, is determined to protect the national treasure and goes to great lengths to save the company when the company faces bankruptcy due to the IMF financial crisis.
On the other hand, In-beom, played by Lee Je-hoon, is portrayed as a character who aims to swallow the national soju, with the tagline “Swallow.” In-beom, a competent employee of the global investment company “Solkwin,” harbors ambitions to take over the national group and approaches Jong-rok with this intention.
The character poster of Chairman Seok Jin-woo, portrayed by Son Hyun-joo, has also been revealed. As the chairman of the national group with a strong belief that the people’s companion soju will never fail, the poster showcases a charismatic gaze along with the tagline “Block.”
Lastly, the character poster of Attorney Gu Young-mo, responsible for crisis management at the national group, is unveiled. The poster shows the appearance of the anonymous representative lawyer Gu Young-mo, with the tagline “Fight,” raising curiosity about his dedicated performance as the legal representative of the national group.
By unveiling the character posters of the four individuals surrounding the national soju, the movie “Soju War” is further amplifying expectations. The film will be released nationwide in theaters on June 3rd (Tuesday).
