The law firm LK Business Partners, representing actor Kim Soo-hyun, has refuted recent allegations about Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron’s underage dating controversy, which was revealed on the YouTube channel of Garosero Research Institute (GRI). GRI indiscriminately released personal photos and messages of Kim Soo-hyun, claiming that he had been dating Kim Sae-ron since they were minors. In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s side emphasized that GRI’s claims were not true.
Previously, GRI claimed that Kim Soo-hyun had a chicken stew and soju date with Kim Sae-ron in 2018, and released a photo of Kim Soo-hyun taking a picture of Kim Sae-ron sleeping. In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s side emphasized that GRI’s claims were not true.
GRI also claimed that a photo of a man presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun was saved on June 20, 2018. The man presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun had soju on the table and allegedly sang ‘The One and Only You’ at a karaoke bar in the early morning of June 21, 2018. GRI also released a photo of Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron taken at a ski resort.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun’s side refuted that the ski resort photo was taken in 2020 when they went as a group with gold medalist Lim Jik-won. They also claimed that the kissing photo of the two was taken after 2019. The photo of Kim Soo-hyun washing dishes without pants was taken in 2020 and has no relation to underage dating.
Regarding the late-night soju drinking at the table and the early morning karaoke photos in June 2018, Kim Soo-hyun’s side claimed that Kim Sae-ron came to visit the Seongsu-dong apartment where Kim Soo-hyun and his family live for a vacation, and Kim Soo-hyun’s family was also there. They emphasized that they were not in a romantic relationship at that time.
