Actress Kim Go-eun donates 50 million won for Myanmar earthquake relief efforts.

Actor Kim Go-eun participated in the recovery efforts for the Myanmar earthquake victims. Good Neighbors announced on the 2nd that Kim Go-eun donated 50 million won to help residents and children affected by the magnitude 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar. The donated funds will be used for ongoing emergency relief activities in Myanmar. Good Neighbors is distributing emergency relief kits consisting of food and necessities in earthquake-affected areas in central and northern Myanmar, as well as in Bangkok, Thailand, and conducting a Psychosocial Support (PSS) program for children.

Kim Go-eun previously donated 100 million won to support low-income families in South Korea affected by COVID-19 and became a member of the Good Neighbors’ high-donor club, ‘The Neighbors’ Honors Club.’ This club consists of sharing leaders who have donated more than 100 million won to Good Neighbors for positive changes in the world. Kim Go-eun has been actively engaged in continuous sharing activities, such as donating 30 million won for emergency relief for the Turkey-Syria earthquakes in 2023.

Kim Go-eun expressed, “I was heartbroken to hear about the news of Myanmar, where lives were lost in an instant,” and conveyed sincere support to the residents in the affected areas who are in sorrow. Meanwhile, Good Neighbors is conducting a fundraising campaign to help the earthquake-affected areas in Myanmar.
